Welcome to the Garden Club!

Garden Club

Gardening can be challenging in the mountains with our altitude, weather, wildlife, etc.. Our members try to make it easier by sharing our tips on what works & what doesn't. The Garden Club meets at 10 a.m. on the 4th Friday of every month except November. Generally, we have potluck at different member's homes, but sometimes visiting the Botanical gardens in Denver, local garden nurseries, enjoying lunch out and shopping makes our day. We keep busy even during the winter with projects like learning to make jam, hummingbird feeders, scarecrows, bird-house building and making “woodpecker pudding” (suet) for the birds.

Garden Club members also donate their time & energy to the community by maintaining the perennial beds at Conifer High School and participating in local gardening activities as needed. If you've got a green thumb or just a hankering to dig in the dirt, come join us!
